In this activity artists use a transfer technique to draw this stunning tiger onto heavy weight paper. This is a fabulous technique to learn because it can be applied to any image. It subtly develops the muscle memory and allows the artist to concentrate on their rendering skills and experiment with colour and materials. Artists choose to work with soft pastels, oil pastels, pencils and watercolour or a combination of materials.
Although everyone uses the same image, each artist produces a unique artwork through the choices they make along the way.
