This activity is a simple introduction to the world of printmaking. Artists are invited to design a night time scene using line as language to describe the landscape. This is done using white pencil on black paper. Once their design is finished artists draw it into styrofoam and print it on heavy weight cartridge paper. Artists learn simple printmaking techniques and print using water based inks.
