In this session we pay our respects to the amazing octopus by creating an artwork dedicated to octopuses.
To start with artists are shown a number of ways to draw an octopus, looking for basic shapes and consideration of a balanced composition. Drawing inspiration from a range of reference photos, they then have the option to use alcohol markers, colour pencils, water colour or all of the above to bring their drawing to life. The use material specific quality papers to ensure they get the most out of the materials.
