Have you ever noticed all the vibrant colours of beetles? They shimmer and shine with all the colours making them dynamic and magical to look at. In this session artists make a tiny beetle a giant using an image transfer technique to get their beetle shape down on A3 oil pastel paper. This gives them the opportunity to concentrate on building the colour and form of their chosen beetle with soft, creamy, smudgy oil pastels.
